Our Campus
In the year 1946, a group of thinking people recognized the transformative power of good quality education and their dedication to empowering young minds led to their vision materializing with the foundation of Balika Shiksha Sadan on 8th July, 1948. Initially, it started at address 54, Gariahat Road, Kolkata, but as the demand for quality education grew, the school relocated in January 1950 to 87, Vivekananda Road, a bustling area of North Kolkata where the need for a good educational school was greatly felt. This led to a significant milestone in 1967, when a separate building was constructed at 12/1, Madhu Roy Bye Lane to house the Primary School, which was inaugurated as Murarilal Mehta Vidya Mandir. Today, Balika Shiksha Sadan stands as a beacon of educational excellence, continuing its mission of nurturing future leaders with a strong foundation of knowledge, values and well-rounded development.

Safe & Secure Buses
School buses are available for conveyance to and from school students for classes IX and XI, provided they agree to pay the bus fee for the entire session.
Extensive Routes
Buses follow fixed routes and cannot traverse narrow roads; students must board at designated main road stops.
Children Safety
Parents are responsible for their children's safety before the bus pick-up and after drop-off at the designated stops.
Facilities
At our school, we give great importance to extra-curricular activities for well-rounded development in students. Excursions to places of interest of Historical and Scientific Importance, Picnics and sports are also organized from time to time to enhance learning beyond the classroom.
